Nothing Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Pro Latest leak Reveals Design and Key Specs

Nothing is gearing up to introduce its next set of smartphones-the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro-on March 4. While the company has been teasing their arrival for a while, it has kept most details under wraps.

However, newly leaked renders shared by AndroidHeadlines provide a first look at the design, revealing some key changes, particularly in the camera setup.

Familiar Design with Some Tweaks

At first glance, both models stick to Nothingโ€™s signature transparent aesthetic, but there are a few noticeable changes. The leaked images confirm that the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro share an almost identical design, but the difference lies in the camera setup.

The Nothing Phone (3a) features a horizontally arranged triple-camera system with an LED flash positioned above the camera module.

The Phone (3a) Pro takes a different approach, packing its cameras in a circular module, where the sensors-including a periscope camera-are placed in a more scattered manner.

Both models come with flat displays and a centrally placed punch-hole camera. The volume buttons are on the left side, while the right edge houses a new camera button alongside the power button. This addition suggests Nothing may introduce quick access photography features, making it easier to launch and capture shots on the go.

Color options will also differ slightly between the two:

Nothing Phone (3a): Black and White

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro: Black and Silver

Whatโ€™s Under the Hood?

Leaks suggest that both devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, positioning them in the premium mid-range category.

The Phone (3a) is expected to come in two RAM variants-8GB and 12GB-with storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
The Phone (3a) Pro is rumored to launch in a single configuration: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

Upgraded Camera System: Periscope Lens on the Pro Model

The Nothing Phone (3a) series appears to be putting a strong emphasis on camera capabilities, with both models featuring a triple-camera setup:

50MP main sensor

8MP ultra-wide sensor

50MP telephoto sensor

However, the Pro model stands out with a periscope telephoto lens, expected to offer 3x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom. Meanwhile, the standard Phone (3a) will stick to a 2x telephoto camera with 30x digital zoom.

For selfies, the Phone (3a) is rumored to come with a 32MP front camera, while the Phone (3a) Pro upgrades to a 50MP front-facing sensor, making it an appealing option for users who prioritize front-camera performance.

Display and Battery: No Major Changes Expected

Both models are expected to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate-which aligns with previous Nothing devices. Battery life should also be decent, with both models reportedly packing a 5,000mAh battery, though fast charging details remain unknown for now.

What to Expect at Launch
With the March 4 launch date approaching, it will be interesting to see how Nothing positions the Phone (3a) series in the competitive mid-range market. The leaked details suggest a strong focus on camera technology, transparent design, and performance enhancements with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. If priced strategically, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro could appeal to photography enthusiasts, while the standard Phone (3a) may attract users looking for a stylish, capable mid-range smartphone.
